Any sex can develop traits or competencies to improve their leadership performance.
Women may naturally have developed soft skills such as empathy, compassion and emotional intelligence, that lead to effective leadership in today’s society. However, it comes down to individual and team performance, and we should ‘choose to challenge’ ourselves to be accountable, regardless of our biology.
