Challenge yourself to be kind and to become the best version of yourself.
Research shows that the UK is losing out on £250bn of economic value each year because of the daunting barriers facing women entrepreneurs.
Deborah Meaden and Justine Roberts are role models for today’s female entrepreneurs, but for me, Amelia Earhart captures the very essence of female entrepreneurship, check out this quote from her, brimming with drive and focus:
‘The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life and the procedure, the process is its own reward.’
She had a positive attitude.
She had integrity.
She was focused on her next step.
She had huge self-belief.
She was driven by passion.
She had a clear sense of purpose.
She was fuelled by bravery and persistence.
As Earhart said, ‘There is more to life than being a passenger.’
