30 years ago this week, fourteen women did something no other woman had done before – they were deployed to sea.
I’m proud to have served in the WRNS during this ‘HMS Brilliant’ time and have incredible memories of those early days.
This week we celebrate them and all the women who have followed in their footsteps.
